Nobody likes to kick-off their long shift at work with wet socks after spending quite some time in the muddy puddles outside. However, that doesn’t make it alright for anybody to use the oven at work in order to dry their socks – especially if they are working at a restaurant.
According to official reports, Alice Sykes, a worker at a Subway store in Worcester, UK, thought that putting her wet socks in the big Subway bread oven was a great idea. Furthermore, she thought it would be even a greater idea to snap a picture of her deed and upload it on Instagram so that the whole world would see it. Unfortunately for her, Jessica Hinton, a Subway customer, saw it and sent a complaint to the manager. Sykes apologized for her actions and publicly claimed it was a one-time thing. She also apologized to Jessica Hinton and somehow didn’t get fired from her job at the Subway restaurant in Worcester.
