Ann Hughes, the headmistress of a primary school in Wales, was furious when she found out that the pupils in her school were plotting against smiling on a school photo. The woman got so enraged about the pupils’ intentions to spoil the photo that she called the police.
However, there was a good reason behind the students’ plan. After a professional conduct hearing it was revealed that Mrs. Hughes wasn’t very good at her job. According to reports, the headmistress failed to take proper action about two students being bullied. She also tore the examination paper of a student in front of him for misspelling a word. The headmistress was also accused of constantly screaming at the children and calling them “stupid” and “a failure”. The school went through a crisis a little more than a year ago when 5 of the 6 teachers refused to go to work due to having no confidence in the headmistress. Mrs. Hughes was suspended and later dismissed but the case continues.
