There is a real estate business in NYC that offers a 15% pay raise to its employees if only one controversial condition is being met. They have to get a permanent tattoo of the company’s brand name and logo on their bodies.
People usually get inked because they want to express their unique personality, but for over 40 employees out of the 800 in total who work at Rapid Realty it was just an easy way to secure a 15% fixed bonus. However, many employees have shared that the money was not the only reason. Some of them believed it was an awesome way to demonstrate their commitment to the company that helps them earn an honest living.
The Rapid Realty owner Anthony Lilli stated that the idea came from an employee who had just decided to brand himself with the logo. Since then Anthony embraced this one-of-a-kind permanent advertising opportunity and made his employees become “walking billboards”.
