Recently there was a bizarre case of prison break in the United Kingdom. An inmate who was serving a 6 year sentence for multiple robberies decided to hop over the fence and escape the minimum security prison he was currently permanently residing. The 58-year-old fugitive Robert Stevens was on the loose for almost a whole month before the cops finally found him and sent him back to prison.
You may be wondering what are the strange reasons which made Stevens’ escape. It wasn’t prison and being incarcerated that made him escape but some old-school gangster rap. It turns out all his fellow inmates were constantly blasting the favorite music of millions of people worldwide. According to Stevens it was played “day and night”. In a moment of weakness when he couldn’t handle it no more he decided to escape. Unfortunately when he got returned to the prison he received a 10 month increase of his sentence. Hopefully he got a nice break from rap music in the 20+ day period he was on the run.
