A uniquely selfless British person named Dan Black suffered from a dreadful bicycle accident back in 2009. Since then Black was paralyzed from the waist down and doctors told him there was a possibility he may never walk again. There was only a slight chance of him getting better if he undergoes a very expensive surgery.
In the following four years Black raised as much as cash necessary for the expensive stem cell surgery which could’ve potentially enabled him to walk again. He raised more than $33,220 (£20,000) to pay for his treatment, but then something incredible and heartwarming happened. Dan Black had read about online about a young 5-year-old boy named Brecon Vaughan. The little child suffered from cerebral palsy and was also paralyzed.
After talking to the medical staff about his chances of actually getting better Dan Black decided not to submit himself to the surgery, but donate all the cash to Brecon’s family. He believed the little 5-year-old had better odds at getting cured and living the normal life which he deserved. According to Brecon’s parents Dan’s charitable donation is beyond phenomenal and truly inspiring. The money Dan donated helped immensely the family of reaching their target of $100,000 (£60,000).
