The United Kingdom holds many unsolved mysteries. From Stonehenge to Loch Ness, it’s surely a desired destination for those who seek a little thrill and mystery.
Earlier this week a strange marine creature left scientists puzzled. Video footage from many people shows that at the beginning of December, Bristol’s harbor was a temporary home to a breath-taking creature that certainly doesn’t appear to have come from Nature. The photographs and video footage show an odd, luminescent creature with tentacles, which disappeared in the dead of the night after lighting up the dark water with its glowing body. Marine biologists admit they have never seen anything like the creature before. However, they say that many marine life forms have luminescent properties and that it could have been washed to the harbor by the strong stormy tides or that it lost its direction while trying to seek shelter from the stormy sea.
It’s still not clear if the creature was a jellyfish or a salp and whether it was alive or dead.
