Let’s face it – everybody wanted to be a part of the awesome circus crews at least once in their lives. But is walking on a thin rope, juggling with dishes and being shot out of circus cannons really worth leaving behind a successful law career? This guy surely thinks so.
The 30 year old Gary Stocker, an Oxford alumna and a super successful ex-lawyer, used to have a 6 figure month salary and live in a mansion worth $1.7 million. The last payment he received as a legal recruitment officer and an academic law writer was the final straw that drew the line on Gary’s law career. According to his own words, the tons of money his former boss promised him was what finally made him quit his job. Gary joined the Magic Circle circus troupe and even set up his very own show with his colleague Mark Foot.
Gary has also put his millions in purchasing the largest circus tent in the UK that can house up to 1,400 viewers.
