You’ve probably wished you could trade your brain with someone else’s at least once in your lifetime. And as crazier as it may sound, one man decided it was high time to start selling brains to people who are willing to pay for one.
According to reports, David Charles was arrested and charged for stealing preserved brains from the Indiana Medical History Museum. Charles has been allegedly breaking into the museum several times in order to steal jars with brains of dead mental patients. Afterwards he has been giving them to an unnamed eBay user so that the latter could sell them on the Internet. Apparently there are people who are willing to actually give money for the brains. One such person, a purchaser from San Diego, realized something was off when he saw the labels on the 6 jars he had bought for $600. After inspecting the labels, he realized the brains were a property of the Indiana Medical History Museum and immediately contacted them.
Charles was tracked down and put behind bars. Maybe next time he’ll use his brain before stealing others’.
