When you running errands which include shopping you should be aware where you flash your wallet and credit cards. Thieves are always on the prowl for easy and unsuspecting victims.
In most cases pickpockets get away before their victim discovers the missing wallet but in some they don’t. Here is the story of Jessica Eaves who had a different approach when she caught the man who robbed her of her wallet.
Jessica is from Guthrie, Oklahoma and she is a really kind-hearted and outgoing young individual. Despite her positive outlook on life she got robbed while grocery shopping in a local store in her hometown Guthrie. She was able to spot the thief who was walking behind her and noticed her wallet was missing moments later. The man had passed behind her and snatched her wallet while she wasn’t looking.
Instead of calling the police authorities immediately, Jessica decided to handle the situation on her own. She located the man inside the store and approached him. Jessica told him in a quiet and polite manner that she knew he had her wallet. Jessica then gave him a choice either to return it immediately or she would call the cops on him. She even offered to pay for his groceries.
The thief was so embarrassed and desperate after that conversation that he reached into his hoodie pocket and gave the Jessica her wallet back. He explained he stole her wallet due to being broke and having to buy food for his children. Jessica and the man walked together to the front and she paid $27 for his groceries. The man had tears in his eyes when he thanked her and promised he would never forget her kindness.
