Bernard Bey from Brooklyn, New York left his home when he was just 12 years old. For the past 20 years the aspiring rapper has been in and out of foster care and the shelter system and is now currently homeless. According to Bey himself the reason he left his family was because they were verbally and physically abusive to him and he couldn’t stand it anymore. The 32-year-old Brooklyn resident has also served time in jail.
Today, Bey is suing his family for $200,000 claiming that they owe him for not loving and supporting him enough which led to Bay having to suffer a lot throughout his life. Bey insists that his parents mortgage their house and give him the money so he could use it open up a franchise food joint. The man also states he would hire his relatives, generously turning the place into a family business.
However, Ben’s mother and some of his family members stated that in reality, it’s absolutely impossible for them to come up with the kind of money Bey asks for as they own their house only partly which makes it impossible to mortgage. What is more, Bey’s mother stated that her son hasn’t work for a single day in his life and he needs to get a job instead of trying to live off of others.
