You’ve probably wondered what’s exactly under a Scotsman’s kilt. Well, for this guy it was a secret compartment for hiding shoplifted items.
According to official reports, Daniel Ducret from Portland, Oregon, was arrested for shoplifting. 37 year old Ducret entered a Fry’s Electronics store wearing a traditional Scottish kilt and stole several small items from the store. The staff members saw him hiding the items in the front pouch of the kilt and under it. The reports claim that the 37 year old man stole an audio car charger, small helicopter toy, a computer mouse and other items. The guy reportedly showed up at the store twice in a row wearing the kilt, which was specially modified in order to assist his pilferage. The staff called the cops, who arrested the shoplifter.
The owner of a kilt store responded to the story by saying that Ducret’s actions give kilts a bad name.
