Finding a free taxi cab sometimes can seem like the Mission Impossible. So what can we do when we’re in a serious need of one? Call 911 and tell them your emergency!
According to the Huffington Post, the 56 year old Michael Baker from Hudson, Florida, called 911 nine times in order to report his emergencies. Strangely, they included a lost football, pain in the chest and the inability to find a free taxi cab. The man, who is listed as homeless by the Pasco County Sheriff’s department, didn’t give up on calling the emergency line from his cellphone. According to the report, during one of the calls he made, he didn’t even report his location. At some point police officers found him, even though he allegedly hid his head under a blanket.
It’s not quite clear why a homeless man would need a taxi or a football, let alone how he’s able to financially support a working cell phone.
