Moving into a new empty apartment is always exciting but when you discover a secret dungeon underneath your new home those chills aren’t so pleasant.
A prying tenant decided to inspect his new apartment the day after he rented it. There was a strange sluice in the floor which, as it turned out, led to a secret dungeon. The studio apartment, which was on the ground floor, was a part of an English monastery conversion. The tenant didn’t know what was hiding in his “basement” so he called a brave friend in order to dive deeper into the investigation. They found out a layout of corridors which probably dated back to the 19th century.
Nobody told the guy about his dungeon cellar when he was renting the place. He admitted he got a great deal for it but he never expected to discover something like this. The man told the media that the dungeon scared him to a point when he didn’t feel comfortable sleeping alone above it. Probably most people would feel the same way.
