Just over 2 weeks ago a 22-year-old man from Rockland, Massachusetts named Scot Lowe received the best news of his life. It turns out the lucky man had just won a $50,000 cash prize form the state lottery. Once he found out about his winning ticket Lowe hopped into his vehicle and headed straight to the headquarters of the lottery based in Massachusetts.
Unfortunately, Lowe was so excited that he’d won a huge sum of money that he totally forgot about stop signs and speed limits. Along the way he got busted for speeding . He was driving with 49 mph in a 35 mph area and got pulled over by the Hingham Police sergeant Steven Dearth. At first sgt. Dearth asked Lowe why he was speeding while noticing how shaky and excited he was. This is when Lowe showed his winning scratch off ticket to the police officer and also mentioned he was on his way to collect his prize money.
In the end the amused sergeant Steven Dearth decided to issue only a verbal warning without actually checking Lowe’s driving licence. Lowe had a really lucky day that day.
