Tracy Kenny from Salfrod, UK who is 45 years old hasn’t had a job for quite some time. She left her previous job as a baker nearly 24 years ago because she developed a disease that makes her unfit for work. Until now she has been living off social support benefits estimated at $700 per month.
The nasty skin disease called contact dermatitis makes her feet painfully itchy. Then she tends to develop painful eczemas that make her skin turn red and scaly. Tracy claims she is literally allergic to glue, nickel, metal and rubber which are basically all the materials shoes are made of. This is why Tracy usually walks barefoot in her home and uses a mobility scooter for outdoor transportation. As if things weren’t bad enough, Tracy discovered that she is also allergic to dust and various chemicals.
Recently, Tracy lost an appeal against the decision of the Department for Work and Pensions which stated that she is fit for work based on her latest medical exams.
