Looking for a place to sleep in Vermont, US, isn’t an easy task. At least it wasn’t for this guy.
According to official reports, a 59 year old man broke into the Shelburne police office in Vermont on the 18th of September this year. The 59 year old man, identified as John P. Dettor, was looking for somewhere to crash. He located one particular building and broke into it using a traffic cone. Unfortunately, the building turned out to be the local police station rather than a school, as the man first thought. He got busted shortly after breaking one of the windows with the traffic cone. The reports state that Mr. Dettor received charges for unlawful mischief, although he allegedly claimed he was innocent.
It’s not clear if the man was homeless or just intoxicated.
