In November 2013 the official authorities of the American city of San Francisco decided to invest more than $100,000 to make the dream of the 5-year-old leukaemia sufferer, Miles Scot come true. He was outfitted with a Batman costume and performed acts of heroism across the city while coming out of a unique Batmobile.
After witnessing the honorable example of San Francisco citizens recently, the police authorities and many volunteers gathered in the Chinese city of Xinyu to help out the paralyzed 9-year-old make his dream come true. The boy’s name is Zou Junyi and he always wanted to be a police officer. He dreams of becoming one despite the fact he fights the muscular dystrophy that bounds him in a wheelchair.
To make the boy as happy as possible the police officers at Xinyu city staged a sophisticated “hostage rescue” situation in which the 9-year-old was the main tactical negotiator. The boy was able to take down the “bad guys” and rescue three hostages after instructing his partner to fight the culprits, who were wielding “knives”. The whole “hostage drama” unfolded right in the center of a busy shopping mall. The shoppers who were passing by, quickly gathered and let out an outpouring of cheers and support for the little crime fighter. After the whole “hostage situation” was dealt with the major of the city of Xinyu appeared and presented the boy with a medal of honor.
According to the parents of Zou Junyi, this was the happiest day of the little boy’s life which he’ll never forget.
