Usually, you have earned someone’s respect when the very thought of offending you makes them fell terrified. It’s a feeling that Manchester United’s prime offense soccer player Wayne Rooney probably knows very well.
Recently a woman named Jo-Anne Scholes from Rochdale, England had incredible difficulty buying her son a special customized Easter Egg with his name on it. What’s the reason? Her son’s name is Wayne Rooney. The particular chocolate shop refused to use the name of the famous soccer player in fear of a copyright lawsuit.
Mr. Scholes was absolutely infuriated by the refusal and she later told everyone on social media about the “pathetic chocolate shop”. The bizarre fear of copyright issues has absolutely no basis since they are no such laws in England. Eventually the shop agreed to label the Easter Egg with different wording. They wrote “Rooney Scholes” .
