Recently one poor man had no place to sleep after the shelter for the homeless was completely full for the night. The man had nowhere to go during the freezing night and he decided to sit in front of a 7-11 store. Luckily the clerk on duty at the 7-11 was the 19-year-old Ava Lins. The kindhearted employeed decided to give the poor homeless fellow a cup of hot coffee which cost $1.
Unfortunately, the employee was caught by the owner of the store, Romany Youseff. He asked the homeless guy whether he had paid for his drink or not. When the owner found out about Lins’ kind gesture he was not quite happy about it and decided to fire her. He believed that Lins was stealing from the store and was giving free drinks to her friends regardless the fact she had paid for the coffee.
Lins was working for $8.25 an hour and she was previously homeless as well. She had trouble finding a decent job because she couldn’t wash her clothes and this is why she was so generous. Unfortunately her boss did not see the situation in this way. Luckily after the story got public Lins was overwhelmed by job offers.
