A young American school boy got in some serious trouble after deciding to take a school bus for a joyride to a Walmart store.
Earlier this June Michael Wade Propst found an unlocked school bus with keys inside in Panama City Beach, Florida. The 12 year old Michael saw a chance of a lifetime and immediately stole the bus. He was able to take it on a 14 mile long joyride all the way to a Walmart store’s parking lot. Some staff members saw the kid’s attempts to park the huge bus. His impressive driving skills couldn’t assist him in going away with the theft and he was soon arrested. According to an official police report, Michael managed to take the bus safely to the parking lot without causing any trouble with other vehicles on the road, but he still committed a crime. The report also states that the bus cost more than $100,000.
The 12 year old received multiple charges, some of which were for grand theft and felony criminal mischief.
