Sometimes journalists can be quite irritating. And one US woman decided the best way to deal with them is to steal their cars…on live TV.
Josh Taylor, a WWSB ABC reporter, thought he had a great story. However, he made a greater story out of the accident he had while preparing for the original one. Taylor drove to Siesta Key in order to cover an unnamed woman’s case. According to official reports, the woman in question had contacted the local news after she became a victim of rental fraud after renting a 5 bedroom house while believing it was a 7 bedroom estate. As Taylor started setting up his equipment at the woman’s address, another woman appeared out of the blue. For some reason she was furious at the reporter and told him to go away. When he didn’t, she took his camera’s tripod and shoved it into his car before getting into the vehicle and driving it off to an undisclosed location.
Fortunately for Taylor, the cops arrived at the crime scene and arrested the woman for grand theft auto, and the story became a hit on the Internet.
