A drunken dad actually misspelled his own son’s name, when he decided to do a DIY tattoo at home.
If you thought you had a bad tattoo, which you regretted, just take a look at what this guy did to himself when he decided to tattoo his son’s name on his skin.
A 27 year old father of two made headlines earlier this April when it became clear that he’s going to make an appearance on UK’s Tattoo Disasters thanks to the dumb mistake he made a couple of years ago. Shortly after Tom Moffatt’s son Riley was born back in 2012, Tom decided to commemorate the event by getting tattoos. He bought a DIY tattoo kit for about $100 off the Internet and got to work.
Unfortunately, he decided to start working on the tattoos when he was under the influence of alcohol.
Tom was about to write Riley’s name on his forearm. However, when he got to the letter L he actually misspelled it with a P. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the drunken dad decided to just scribble over the letter P and extend a line out of it so that it would look like a letter L. Of course, it didn’t work out and he ended up misspelling his own son’s name in a really obvious way. Instead of just stopping there, Tom continued with the DIY tattooing process and decided to ink Riley’s nickname near the first tattoo. He wanted to draw “Sonny Boy”, but instead of that he wrote “Sony Boy”. And if you think all of the above isn’t bad enough, the drunken Tom also managed to scribble down a badly shaped cross on his forearm as well – just above the misspelled Riley.
Tom and his partner are all about tattoos and now the father of two is trying to get the word out and popularize his story in order to prevent other people from making the same mistake.
