One romantically challenged man from Ohio, US, has allegedly set his very own cousin’s house on fire, simply because he couldn’t be with her.
Heather Tenney’s house was lit on fire earlier this July. Heather, who is residing in Leavittsburg, Ohio, US, was in her home with her husband Dennis when the fire started. It originated from their garage before it spread over their entire home and even managed to light the neighboring house in flames as well.
According to the local fire department, it was started somewhere between 3:30 AM and 4:00 AM on the night of the 23rd of this July. According to Heather and her husband, the fire wasn’t an accident.
Not only that, but the woman is claiming her own cousin started it. She told the media that her unnamed cousin was in love with her and thanks to his romantic challenges, he decided to light her house on fire.
Heather shared that her relative was mad about the fact that she’s happily married to her husband. On the other hand, the husband – Dennis, shared that there had indeed been a family fight earlier that night. He refused to confirm his wife’s story, but he stated that the fight had been started via some text messages. Dennis’ story states that the unnamed relative, who was texting the couple, wanted to come over, but he was denied access to the house.
The couple said they had spotted somebody lurking around their home somewhere around midnight that same night, but they didn’t give out more details. Heather refused to give out any names, but the local police are currently on the lookout for the person, who has started the fire. They are convinced it was arson and not an accident.
